What has been happening? In december five trainers from Slagtog finished the second part of the training of trainers. The training of trainers is organised and taught by Irene Zeilinger, who has over 25 years of experience in teaching FSD. She has also led the NGO Garance based in Belgum, which in many ways is Slagtog’s rolemodel. Besides the trainers from Slagtog, 5 trainers from Romania participated in the training of trainers. The training took place over two week period. The preparation for the third and last part of the training of trainers is being organised, and will take place in Belgium at the end of May 2022. During the period of October – Desember 2021, Slagtog led 5 introduction workshop in feminist self-defence and worked with various groups, including W.O.M.E.N, Q-félagið and Póst-húsið. |
Other feminist events. Due to the current gathering restrictions not much seems to be happening. We none the less want to highlight the support groups of Samtökin ’78 for different minorities within the LGBTQIA+ community. |
