The organization W.O.M.E.N. in Iceland have offered Slagtog to lead their next Women’s Table event on the 4th of November, between 15:00-16:300 in Borgarbókasafn Gróf. The Women’s Table is an event W.O.M.E.N. have organized for quite some time now. The Women’s Table is a safe space for women of foreign origin to practice their Icelandic. The value of the event align well with Slagtog’s own values, but the core principles of the Women’s Table are Safe space, Empowerment and Community.

Zahra Hussaini, a trainer from Slagtog, will be leading discussions on feminist self defense and who knows, maybe she will provide an opportunity to practice some verbal self defense techniques!
